Can multiple people receive alerts for the same device?
Yes. Each PowerNotify device can send alerts to unlimited email addresses and unlimited phone numbers for SMS and call alerts.
Good to know: Alerts are configured per device, not per account. This allows different devices to notify different people.
How it works
- Email recipients can be added freely and enabled for alerts.
- Phone numbers must be verified before they can receive SMS or call alerts.
- Each phone number can independently have SMS, Call, or both enabled.
- The same recipient can be used across multiple devices.
Common use cases
- Family members receiving alerts for a home installation
- Multiple staff members notified for business or site monitoring
- Backup contacts in case the primary contact is unavailable
Tip: There is no practical limit to the number of recipients, but SMS and call alerts will consume credit for each message or call sent.
